The Story of Prophet Nuh (Noah)
Prophet Nuh (Noah) is one of the earliest prophets mentioned in the Quran. He called his people to worship Allah alone for 950 years, yet most rejected him.
The Call Nuh preached with patience and wisdom. He warned his people of Allah's punishment if they continued in disbelief and idolatry. They mocked him, calling him mad, and threatened to stone him.
The Ark When Allah decreed the flood, He commanded Nuh to build an ark. Nuh built it despite the ridicule of his people. He was instructed to take aboard pairs of every animal, his family, and the believers. His son and wife (who disbelieved) were not among the saved.
The Flood The flood came and destroyed all who had rejected the message. The ark floated safely until it came to rest. Nuh and the believers were saved, and humanity began anew through his lineage.
The Lesson "We sent Nuh to his people. He said: O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a tremendous Day." (Surah Al-A'raf 7:59) — Persistence in calling to truth, even when rejected, is the way of the prophets.
