The 99 Names of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), known as Asma un-Nabi (أسماء النبي), are the beautiful names and attributes by which the Prophet is described in the Quran, Hadith, and Islamic tradition. Knowing and reflecting on these names deepens our love for him and our understanding of his noble character.
The Beloved of Allah
"Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [Allah to grant him] peace." (Surah Al-Ahzab 33:56)
